Many churches are great spots for filming and not only advertises the church but provides one important thing all churches need to function, money. For big churches money is for improvements, but for small churches money is for their budget. But, not everything is allowed. No violence in the production or no filming at the church.
Opening their facilities means extra income for the churches. They’re still very picky about what movies film there and above all, NO FILMING ON SUNDAY!
