The biggest hope that elder Ku has is to be able to take care of the daily needs of these new immigrants.
Learning Department Department Head: Paul Zhao
Brother Paul comes from China. He worked as a seminary professor in China. In 2002, Paul came to the US to study. In June of 2004, he graduated with a MA in Theology.
The target tasks in the Learning Department is to care for each individual new immigrant family. Through visitation and family meetings, we hope to build up these families to become Christian families that can experience the grace and love of God.
Activity Department Department Head: Shien-Ren Yao
Brother Shien-Ren comes from Taiwan. He was the previous Good News Fellowship leader. It is hard to tell how “young” he really is with his pearl white hair. The target areas in this department is to collaborate with the special events from church and to sponsor one day field trips to help the new immigrants to know more about LA and to make their lives more lively.
Website Department Department Head: Hai-Ko Yen
Brother Hai-Ko and his wife come from Shian-Shi, China. He is the leader from Shian-Yin Fellowship. They have a son, a daughter and several cats.
The target tasks for the Website Department is to share testimonies among the new immigrants on the website. We hope to use these testimonies to spread the gospel to the Chinese all over the world who surf our website.
